We had a wonderful time filming ‘Be Mime’, our student short film. You can see our process on our two days of filming in the images below. The movie was filmed in Chicago on Loyola University Water Tower Campus in and in front of the new Schreiber School of Business .
Featured in these photos are: Jason Girard, Aaron Greer, Max Helm, Eric Hoyer, France Jean-Baptiste, Jenna Liddle, Aran Morris, Trevor Romack, Lauren Simon, Grant Whittacker, and Logan Willis.
I am very excited to announce my next big project that I will be working on for the next several weeks. It is a short film I will be directing as part of my Narrative Production class and it is titled “Be Mime”
Here is our current title page for the film:
How can you say the right thing when you can’t say anything at all?
The film is a sweet little comedy about miscommunications and romantic proposals.
We are currently excepting applications for actors to audition both through Backstage or by emailing bemimethemove@gmail.com and submitting a headshot and resume.
I am excited to be working with a great production team of students at Loyola University Chicago on the project, and continuing to keep you all involved in our progress as we work along the route to creation.

Check out my short film titled ‘Recess’
As part of my first production class since becoming a Graduate Student at Loyola University Chicago studying Digital Media and Storytelling, I got the chance to create my first independent short film. The requirements for the project, which constituted as my final project for the course, was that it not exceed five minutes in length, and showed proficiency and understanding of the following elements:
The 180 degree rule
Continuity of action
Entering but never fully leaving the frame
The film is titled Recess.
